He is the First Keralite in World Karate Federation -WKF and 4th Indian to cross this bar successfully.

Prem Kumar, who runs the Shito Ryu School of Karate in Kuwait, was also felicitated by WKF Referee Council Member Mr. Roland Lowinger (Germany) awarding *Silver Pin* on the occasion of completing 15 years of regular service with WKF.

Mr. Prem Kumar (WKF - Black Belt 6th Degree) took lot of hard work & tons of patience to achieve it. Although, he is practicing Karate since 34yrs by now but still the thirst of knowledge of more advanced Karate is keeping him engaged and to chase this art for many more laps ahead. Mr. Prem in Kuwait shares his knowledge to Kids & Adults of many Indians in Kuwait and has introduced to the term "Sports Karate". Also, he is an official Referee in Kuwait Karate Federation since year 2000.
